Prior to HBO, Gena worked freelance in various production and post production positions for a variety of television networks as well as film studios between 1992 and 2002. Immediately prior to joining as an executive, Gena was the post supervisor on Sex & The City in New York. She began her film and television career as a producer’s assistant at Lucas Film TV Ltd. She has a B.A. in Psychology and English Literature from Skidmore College and a Masters in Mass Communications/TV Production from Emerson College in Boston.
