Chu has served as the President of Resource Management & Energy (RME, formerly TSS) since June 2007. He has more than 16 years of experience with us and has served in various technical and management capacities, including project and program manager, office manager, regional manager and Chief Operating Officer for TSS. Chu was named a Vice President in 2001 and has served as president of several subsidiary companies during his tenure. He began his career as a civil/sanitary engineer in 1981 and entered the environmental consulting field in 1984. His career has included management of major assessment, engineering, and remediation programs for major oil and gas companies, Fortune 100 manufacturers, energy suppliers, and government agencies. Chu is a registered professional engineer in several states and has authored numerous technical articles. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University and a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Southern California.

Prior to that, from June 1976 to June 1980, Joe worked in process engineering at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a gas and chemicals company. Zaganczyk previously served for seven years as director – customer care centers at We Energies and was responsible for the company’s response to more than 4 million contacts made by customers every year via phone, interactive voice response, email, social media and other channels. He directed the performance of more than 300 employees at the company’s customer care centers in Milwaukee and Pewaukee. He also directed the company’s Customer Services legal claims group. He was appointed to his current role when WEC Energy Group was formed in June 2015. Zaganczyk has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility since joining the company in 1983, including supervisor – GIS mapping, supervisor – utility coordination, manager – essential services coordination, and director – credit and collections. Bob Whitefoot was named vice president – gas distribution asset management for WEC Energy Group in June 2015. In this role, Whitefoot is responsible for the company’s strategies to ensure continued safe and reliable operation of the natural gas distribution system. He also provides direction to ensure code-compliant operation of the natural gas distribution system and prepares strategic initiatives to ensure ample natural gas distribution system capacity. Since joining the company in 1978, Whitefoot has held positions of increasing responsibility, including associate engineer; engineer – measurement and instrumentation; manager – gas management; manager – gas system operations; director – gas system operations; and regional manager – southeast Wisconsin. In 2010 John negotiated the EPC and turbine contracts and oversaw the construction of the 152 MW Keenan wind farm in Woodward, OK. Previous to CPV, as Senior Vice President for Gemma Power Systems, John was responsible for profit and loss on the turnkey installation of 10 power projects ranging in size from a 50 MW peaking facility to a 600 MW combined cycle facility totaling more than 4,000 MW. All of these projects were completed on time, under budget, and went on to operate reliably. Recently, John played a role in the closing of the CPV Sentinel project, and is currently overseeing construction of 165 MW wind farm in Kansas. John has been responsible for installing the prime movers of every major equipment manufacturer, including ABB, Siemens, Westinghouse, and GE, including both aeroderivative and frame machines. Throughout his career, John has been dedicated to the successful completion of EPC power projects, starting out as a mechanical field engineer, and subsequently fulfilling the role of project engineer, construction manager, commissioning manager, project manager, project executive, and EPC contract negotiator.
