Born in Mansfield, Ohio, Jack Williams graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He joined Exxon in April 1987 as a drilling engineer in New Orleans, Louisiana. After his initial assignment in the drilling organization, Mr. Williams held various technical, supervisory, and planning positions, including two years in the U.S. upstream planning organization. In 1997, Mr. Williams began a series of operations management assignments, including operations superintendent for the company’s East Texas field areas and operations manager for the company’s Gulf Coast and offshore California properties. Mr. Williams was then transferred to Anchorage, Alaska, to oversee the company’s North Slope and Cook Inlet interests. Following this assignment, he moved to Malaysia to serve as the deputy production manager for the company’s South China Sea operations. In 2005, Mr. Williams moved to Dallas, Texas, where he served as an upstream advisor for Exxon Mobil Corporation. Two years later, Mr. Williams became the vice president of engineering for ExxonMobil Production Company. Following this work in production, he became the vice president responsible for Asia projects in ExxonMobil Development Company. In 2010, Mr. Williams was named president of XTO Energy Inc. He held this position for three years before returning to the ExxonMobil Production Company as executive vice president. Bill Pitesa is senior vice president and chief nuclear officer for Duke Energy. He is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the largest regulated nuclear generation fleet in the U.S. Previously, Pitesa served as the company’s senior vice president of nuclear operations. Mr. Wagner previously served as senior vice president, Western Business Unit, for QR Energy LP and the affiliated Quantum Resources Management, which he joined in early 2012 as vice president, Exploitation. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2012, Wagner was managing director in Houston for Scotia Waterous, the oil and gas arm of Scotiabank. Before joining Scotia, Wagner was vice president, Gulf of Mexico, for Devon Energy Corp. in Houston. He began at Devon in 2003 as manager, International Exploitation. From 2000 to 2003, Wagner worked for Ocean Energy Inc. as manager, Acquisitions & Divestitures, and manager, International Exploitation. Wagner was with The Scotia Group in Dallas and Houston between 1990 and 2000, progressing through positions of increasing responsibility, eventually establishing and managing a new company office in Houston as a senior vice president. Mr. Templin began his career with Marathon Petroleum Corporation in June 2011. Prior to this, he was the managing partner of the Audit Practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee from 2009 to 2011. While at PwC, he had more than 25 years of experience providing auditing and advisory services to a wide variety of private, public and multinational companies. He formerly served as the Managing Partner of PwC’s practice in Kazakhstan and also participated in the International Service Program in PwC’s World Office in London, England. Mr. Templin joined PwC in the Pittsburgh office in 1984 where he served a number of public manufacturing clients. He participated in a tour in London, England from 1989 – 1991 where his primary responsibility was to support developing PwC practices principally in West Africa, the Caribbean and Taiwan. Mr. Templin returned to the Pittsburgh office in 1991 and served a number of public companies primarily in the manufacturing and energy industries.
