Cox has led the company through acquisitions that have driven differentiation in key solution areas and expanded its capabilities and scale, as well as divestitures that aligned the company with its strategic objectives. Key acquisitions he has spearheaded include CheckFree Corporation, Open Solutions, Inc. and CashEdge, each of which furthered the company’s delivery of solutions in step with the way people live and work today. Previously, Cox served as EVP, Group President of Fiserv Health Solutions. He joined Fiserv in 2001 through the acquisition of Trewit and has 30 years of financial services experience. Prior to joining Fiserv, Cox was managing partner of Lund Koehler Cox & Arkema, LLP, now part of Baker Tilley Virchow Krause. While a practicing CPA, Cox frequently advised clients on their merger and acquisition programs. Cox earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting at the University of Minnesota and practiced as a licensed CPA until 2000.
