Toward this goal, Kwok-Kin Wong’s laboratory has generated multiple genetically engineered inducible mouse models of lung cancers based on recently discovered lung cancer relevant oncogenic mutations. These models have proved invaluable for understanding the molecular mechanisms of lung cancer initiation and progression, as well as for novel targeted therapeutic testings. Kwok-Kin Wong was elected to the American Society of Clinical Investigation in 2007. He is a recipient of the Sidney Kimmel Foundation Scholar Award and the Tisch Foundation Solid Tumor Scholar Award. He was also the recipient of the Team Science Award from the American Association for Cancer Research in 2010. After earning his MD and PhD from the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University, Kwok-Kin Wong completed his internship and residency in Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. Myles works directly with architects and designers to manufacture and design the minimalistic pre-engineered railing system which has positioned the company as a thought leader in the industry. These projects have resulted in numerous awards from the Washington Building Congress. Most recently Myles Admiraal and company were awarded the Washington Business Congress Start Award for Visual Excellence of Modular Feature Stairs for their work on the JBG company headquarters. In addition, some other notable projects include working on 11 foreign embassies that include Australian, Lithuanian, and South African embassies in Washington as well as The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. Myles Admiraal enjoys working with clients and putting his expertise to use by overseeing management of many departments including: drafting, project management, plant operations, field operations, and purchasing, etc. He also review complex proposals and makes sure that the best services are being delivered as possible for each unique project that is worked on.

Dr. C. Bernard Shung is currently Founder and President of Wolley Inc., that pioneers in new controller architecture for emerging Storage Class Memory (SCM). Prior to founding Wolley, he was General Manager, New Business Development at Mediatek Inc., where he was responsible for advising the CEO on new product and technology development in the enterprise segment. Prior to joining Mediatek, Dr. Shung was SVP Engineering, at Link-A-Media Devices Corp (LAMD), which was acquired by SK hynix. In LAMD & SKHMS, he was leading the development of solid state storage solutions for various applications spanning consumer to enterprise markets. Prior to joining LAMD, Dr. Shung was a co-founder and Vice President of Engineering at SiBEAM, Inc., which was acquired by Silicon Image. At SiBEAM, he helped to build the engineering team and developed three generations of wireless baseband products in the 60G Hz band. Prior to co-founding SiBEAM, he was Directory of Engineering at Broadcom, where he was involved with Ethernet switch product development for LAN, WAN and MAN applications. Earlier Dr. Shung worked at IBM Research where he was involved in various technology developments including Storage Area Networks, and storage PRML read channels. Dr. Shung was a Professor and Chairman of the Dept of the Electronics Engineering, National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) in Taiwan. Dr. Shung received Outstanding Teaching Award at NCTU and he served in the ISSCC program committee and as a guest editor of IEEE Communications Magazine. Dr. Shung was elected the Chairman of Board and President of the Chinese Institute of Engineers (CIE-USA). Dr. Shung has published more than 60 technical papers and held more than 10 US/Taiwan patents. Dr. Shung received his BSEE from National Taiwan University, and MS and Ph.D. degree in EECS from University of California, Berkeley.
