Prior to joining Cisco, Mr. Sorgente served in a variety of business management roles with Wang, IBM and Sun Microsystems (acquired by Oracle). He spent half of his career in the services side of the IT business building services delivery teams, as well as developing systems integration and tailor-made infrastructure solutions addressing specific business issues mainly in the fields of healthcare, transportation and finance. Mr. Sorgente then transitioned into the business world initially as a product sales specialist and then into the solutions-based space creating industry-focused teams as well as complex partner and alliance matrixes designed to fulfill state-of-the-art, end-to-end business solutions.
