James England
Chief Technology Officer of Dynamic Screening Solutions
While finishing up my B.S. in Computer Science at Utah State University, I began working an internship at Dynamic Screening Solutions. The internship turned into a permanent position with DSS and eventually led to the development of our HR onboarding software, 321Forms. As CTO, I love to create elegant, adaptable solutions to problems, and 321Forms has been the perfect assignment to illustrate this for the HR community. As a personal project, I’ve taken this same approach with my enthusiasm for college football and math, and developed a rating system that calculates the performance of the teams. The similarity of its statistical modeling to that of the computers used to determine the official ratings for the BCS (Bowl Championship Series), led to being a part of the Kenneth Massey team for rating college football. In 2014, I identified an opportunity at a local elementary Charter School where I get to make a difference in the community while having a positive impact on the future. As a dedicated mentor and tutor, I get to be a part of developing and shaping our students and future leaders, witnessing their exceptional abilities and how they might change the world. I get a sneak-peek at the future as it evolves and develops in our children.
