Preet Anand is the founder and CEO of Patronus. The idea of developing the app Patronus, formerly BlueLight, first came to him during freshman orientation in college. He learnt that 1 out of 5 college women are victims of attempted sexual assault. Applying that ratio to the women in his life, he knew he had to do something about the problem. Preet previously worked at Zynga and as one of the youngest lead product managers in the company history. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from Santa Clara University.
