In the early 1990s, Thilo worked for an internal startup at Motorola, where he launched Motorola’s first consumer wireless “communicator” (the Envoy), and then launched Motorola’s first cable modem for broadband Internet access. In 1996, Thilo joined The Boston Consulting Group, focused on Consumer and Technology strategy, including projects in medical imaging, digital printing, and online retail. While at BCG, he helped launch Sotheby’s online auction business. Mark Lessing

Mark Lessing joined Insight in 2000 and is currently a Managing Director and the Chief Financial Officer. Mark serves on several of the firm’s executive committees and handles investor relations, including quarterly financial reporting, investor presentations, and communications to limited partners. He was integral to the firm’s efforts in raising its last several investment funds (totaling approximately $2.0 billion in 2011, $1.3 billion in 2007 and $0.7 billion in 2005). Anand Menon

Anand Menon is Director, New Consumers at Mastercard. In this role, he is responsible to drive the strategy and product roadmap to help MasterCard reach financial excluded and under-served consumers around the world. His focus areas are facilitating electronic/digital G2P payments, building partner propositions to capture key flows, and exploring alternative channels to increase product usage and allow for meaningful inclusion. Anand has spent much of the last decade focused on financial inclusion, first in microfinance and then with a focus on digital financial services. Prior to MasterCard, Anand was with Accion, where he worked with financial institutions and innovative fin-tech companies to help achieve financial inclusion through the smart use of digital technologies and distribution channels. Anand has also worked with Bankable Frontier Associates (BFA), where he provided strategic input to mobile operators, banks, insurers and payment providers on strategies to leverage digital channels to advance financial inclusion. Prior to BFA, Anand was the microfinance advisor to Graham Wrigley (Chairman of CDC, UK), cut his teeth on grassroots development finance issues at Intellecap, a microfinance advisory firm in India. Anand also had mainstream consulting stints with KPMG consulting, EY transaction advisory & the UBS corporate strategy team. His alma mater is the University of Mumbai, and graduated in 2002 with a degree in Management and a specialization in International Finance.
