Caroline Creidenberg
CEO & Founder of Wedfuly
A graduate of computer science from the University of Denver, Caroline discovered the wedding world from the tech side (or lack thereof). In her early days, you could find Caroline barefoot, riding her pink two-wheeler down High Drive in Kansas City. At the time, you certainly would not have found her dreaming of weddings or white dresses. Caroline’s passion for being a boss and taking on any challenge head-on is what led her to Wedfuly. She saw the white space that the largely male-dominated tech sector did not, and now online weddings have become her passion. These days, you can find Caroline mountain biking off rocks (shoes and helmet on) and skiing down moguls in Colorado. And, from time to time, dreaming of weddings and white dresses.

Jonathan Sawyer is the Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer/Chief Technology Officer at Xetawave. Jonathan has pushed the limits over a period of three decades in the design and development of new and innovative, industry-changing wireless technologies. He is renowned in his approach for always thinking out of the box and questioning conventional wisdom. Prior to XetaWave, Jonathan co-founded FreeWave Technologies in 1993. In addition to his responsibilities as CTO, he co-managed FreeWave. Jonathan designed the very first FHSS products which employed modulation, hopping speeds and over-the-air protocols which are still considered state of the art to this day. In his 17 years at FreeWave, he designed every radio and grew the company culminating with an investment by TA Associates of $113M in 2007. During the 3 years following the acquisition, Jonathan worked to expand the management and technical team of FreeWave to ensure its continued scalability and growth from its entrepreneurial roots. Prior to FreeWave, in 1986 and as co-founder of Inovonics, Jonathan developed a unique narrow pulse wireless technology to enable low power, unlicensed devices to achieve a range of miles versus feet, a first within the industry. This technology is still in use today. In 2005, Inovonics was sold to Roper Industries for over $45 million. In the late 1980s, while director of hardware engineering for Clinicom, Jonathan pioneered the first WIFI type network at 900 MHz for use in handheld computers within a hospital environment. Jonathan’s 900 MHz technology produced an aggregate bandwidth of over 15MB and extended the range of this technology to allow a single access point to provide wireless coverage across multiple floors within a hospital. During this time, he developed much of the Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technologies and protocols used today. Jonathan received several patents for his work.

Caleb Avery
CEO and Founder of Tilled
With experience in the payments industry for over a decade, Caleb Avery was often asked to help software companies who were looking to monetize their payments. Unable to find a solution that didn’t require his clients to compromise on either technology, user experience, or economics, he decided that he needed his own solution.
That led him to build Tilled and create PayFac-as-a-Service.
Caleb first started working in the payments industry while in college, co-founding a credit card processing independent sales organization, or ISO, with a few of his friends. Beginning with very traditional credit card processing customers including restaurants, salons, liquor stores and other brick and mortar businesses, Merchant Services Done Right later expanded into processing services for e-commerce businesses, software companies and now operates in 22+ states across the country.
Over the years, he also consulted for larger software companies processing anywhere from $100 million to over a billion in annual payments volume. These clients needed a payments expert to help them negotiate agreements, develop new pricing models, and maximize their revenue from credit card processing.
It was working with these businesses that he realized software companies who were looking to optimize their integrated payment processing solution were really looking for two key things. One, an instant digital sign-up experience for their customers. And two, to maximize the revenue they could earn.
Tilled’s revolutionary PayFac-as-a-Service platform allows software companies to enjoy all of the benefits of becoming a PayFac without any of the upfront investment or ongoing overheads, all while capturing the lion’s share of the economics.
Follow Caleb Avery:
