Diishan Imira is the founder and CEO of Mayvenn, a technology company that re-shapes how sale retail products are distributed. Graduating from Georgia State’s business school in 2010, Imira has a vast background in international trade, logistics, and investment. Straight out of college, Imira lived in China for two years and built a successful import/export company, running it profitably for about four years. Imira has lived and worked in several countries, including China, France, Brazil, and Ethiopia. Imira also speaks conversational Mandarin. Imira founded Mayvenn in 2012 with co-founder Taylor Wang. The company empowers the 95 percent of African American salons that do not retail products. Their commerce solution eliminates a salon’s inventory cost and opens a new revenue stream for their business. In April 2013, Mayvenn was accepted into the 500 Startups accelerator program. When they got to the program, other entrepreneurs were confused — questioning the probable success of the startup in Silicon Valley. It was unlike anything they had seen before. But that was only half the battle for the startup geared predominantly towards black consumers. During the summer of 2013, Imira and Wang stayed in Mountain View, Calif. where they immersed themselves into the cut-throat culture of the Valley and introduced their product to several investors. By August, they had raised $750,000 in investment funding and in October 2013, Mayvenn was officially launched. As of 2015, the company had raised $3 million in venture capital funding and has a network of over 25,000 stylists. With the continued mission to involve hair stylists in the process of buying and selling products, Imira and Wang’s goal is to eventually expand Mayvenn into an online platform that sells not only hair extensions but other hair care products, as well.

Na’ama Moran is Co-Founder and CEO at Cheetah. She came to the US to study economics, math, and political science at Cornell University, and started her career with Greylock Capital Management as an analyst. She soon left finance and moved to Silicon Valley to pursue her dream of building products that make people’s lives better with technology. Today, Na’ama is scaling Cheetah at an unprecedented pace. Since its inception in 2015, Cheetah has served over 2,000 independent restaurants with a mission to improve their supply chain. Tai Lopez
Co-Founder, Chairman of Retail Ecommerce Ventures
Tai Lopez is an investor, partner, or advisor to over 20 multi-million dollar businesses. Through his popular book club and podcasts Tai shares advice on how to achieve health, wealth, love, and happiness with millions of people worldwide. Over the years, Tai sought out the secrets to the “Good Life” by setting up his life as a series of experiments. He began by reading thousands of books from the most impactful figures in history: Freud, Aristotle, Gandhi, Charlie Munger, Sam Walton, Darwin, Confucius, and countless others. He spent two-and-a-half years living with the Amish, worked at a leper colony in India, and helped Joel Salatin pioneer grass-fed, sustainable agriculture on Polyface Farms. He then joined the long list of entrepreneur college dropouts and ended up completely broke (sleeping on his mom’s couch) until he talked five, multi-millionaire entrepreneurs into mentoring him. Tai went on to work in the world of finance before becoming a founder, investor, advisor, or mentor to more than 20 multi-million dollar businesses while settling in the Hollywood Hills. He appeared on various TV and radio shows, spoke at top global universities like The London Business School and the University of Southern California, and created one of the top downloaded podcasts and YouTube channels, “The Grand Theory of Everything.” In order to get feedback from an even larger audience, Tai started what is now one of the world’s largest book clubs that reaches 1.4 million people in 40 countries with his “Book-Of-The-Day” free email newsletter. Tai recently summarized all he has learned from his mentors and compiled them into a series of ‘mentor shortcuts’ he calls, “The 67 Steps.” He also created an alternative to the traditional business school. This “Business Mentorship” program combines the best of self-learning with the best of a University degree without all the downsides of burdensome costs and inefficient methods.

Dennis Wong
Co-Founder of YOR Health
Visionary business leader Dennis Wong is the founder of YOR Health, a leading health and nutrition company based in Irvine, California. His company enjoys a worldwide clientele, thanks to the firm’s adherence to pure, natural, and nutritional products that meet the highest standards of quality. Dennis knows that hard work and achieving goals are the keys to success in any business venture, and he embodies these aspects as he continues to lead his industry. Overcoming Hardships on the Path to Success Dennis is a native of Hong Kong; as a youth, his family struggled to make ends meet. Surrounded by families in similar financial circumstances, he learned at an early age the value of hard work and commitment to a goal. After moving to the United States in 1968 – lured by the promise of a better life for himself and for his family – he found himself once again in dire financial circumstances. A series of poor life choices led him to reevaluate his life, and he sought to turn things around. He enrolled in college and began to thrive in the educational environment, despite struggles with ADHD, which was poorly understood at the time. Dennis applied himself, overcoming his personal and educational challenges, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. The market for engineers was strong in his first years after graduating, but opportunities steadily dwindled as the defense industry shrank. It was time for another change – a change that Dennis embraced. New Opportunities, New Successes The real estate market in California showed incredible promise to Dennis Wong and his family. By a stroke of luck, Dennis and his sister met a group of property investors who served as mentors to the young brother-and-sister combo. Over the course of five years, Dennis was able to make his first million; he was not quite 30 years of age when he achieved this landmark of success. Dennis is a person who is always seeking new opportunities, and with his financial stability and newfound success, he eagerly sought out the next business venture. Along with his sister, he co-founded an Internet services company in Southern California, which met with near-overnight success as the World Wide Web flourished in homes across the country. As with previous endeavors, Dennis applied himself wholeheartedly to growing his company. A Life Change The process of building and maintaining a large company began to wear on Dennis and his health. By the age of 40, he was diagnosed as pre-diabetic and in danger of serious heart complications. By focusing on his business, he had neglected his personal health, and he knew that time was short to make changes to secure his future. During a business seminar, Dennis was able to connect with other industry leaders. One of them was a successful nutritional supplements company co-founder who took a liking to Dennis and encouraged him to enter the natural products industry. A short time later, and YOR Health was born. Dennis had seen first-hand how nutritional supplements and natural products transformed lives; he experienced it on his own and realized that more people needed access to healthy alternatives. Spurred by this revelation, he and his team began to develop a wide range of products. Today, YOR Health has a global network of Promoters which organize company sales while educating others in natural lifestyle choices. Dennis credits this part of his success on divine intervention; by meeting the right people by chance, he was able to capitalize on opportunities. YOR Health Products and the Live Bare Movement Under Dennis Wong’s visionary leadership, YOR Health has emerged as one of the most influential and successful natural products manufacturers in the world. The company produces a wide range of products, from essential oil blends to health and beauty products such as skincare creams, body washes, and nutritional supplements. YOR carefully sources its raw ingredients, focusing on certified organic producers and their natural plant extracts. Among the many exciting products the company has brought to market, the Bare Oils line has achieved an unrivaled level of success. Essential oils have been shown in numerous studies to provide an array of healthful benefits, and by capturing the essence of organic fruits and herbs, YOR has been able to help its customers lead happier, healthier lives. All of YOR Health’s products are free of synthetic ingredients such as dyes and perfumes. Pesticide residues and artificial additives have been eliminated from the entire range of products. Natural plant fragrances and extracts combine to provide incredible benefits, balancing mind and body while promoting health for the whole family. The Live Bare Movement was developed by YOR Health to share its healthy living products and philosophy with others. Living purely and with awareness to one’s environment is critical in achieving a greater state of personal health. To Live Bare is to return to a simpler time by creating positive change and to encourage others to make steps toward living a more healthy and satisfying life. The Live Bare Movement empowers those who want to take charge of their own lives. By becoming a YOR Health Promoter, participants gain discounts, dynamic income-generating opportunities, support, and the chance to make positive differences in lives around the country and around the world.
