We at WrawP Food manufacture wraps, pizza crust, and snacks made of fruit and veggies. Our main mission is to create a truly healthy product with limited amount of ingredients. clean, tasty and most important foods that is healthy for the human body!
So we created a dehydrated wrap made of fruits and vegetables. Our product has a great shelf life since its dehydrated, so all the health benefits stay inside our products. All our products are similar to dried fruits and nuts so they can last for over a year. Ingredients of wraps are really simple.
They are whole fruits and veggies. We don’t use any grains. This product can be eaten on any diet! Our goal is to give people more options of healthy eating And our health is most important thing in our life.
Tell us about yourself?
I’m an immigrant who came here and was really disappointed with the quality of the food in the USA. So I decide to make my input in this industry and create a product which I personally love to eat and would be happy to give to my loved ones.
With the Master Degree at Economics and Management and 6 years in the retail side of the food industry I felt comfortable to scale up the product which was created at my home kitchen and take and share it with other people.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Hahaha… its a great question. The last couple years with the pandemic has not been the easiest time for our business. I would advise myself to be patient and life will put everything where its suppose to be.
What problem does your business solve?
The biggest problem we see in food manufacturing is the quality of food that we eat. you can find a lot of food on the shelves which looks healthy but its has so many ingredients added to it for better texture, flavor, color, that is super unhealthy that is why WrawP is such a great product. Its super clean and healthy.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
Any person on any type of diet can eat WrawP. For people who have dietary restrictions or simply trying to take care of their bodies we are making a perfect product! And we want to show people that healthy can also be tasty!
What is your magic sauce?
ingredients, process… For example our competitor Nuco is making their coconut wraps overseas. We at WrawP are making it in the US, and we are creating jobs for local people. Siete makes great tortillas but they are refrigerated and hightly processed with not nuch nutrients in it.
But our product is shelf stable and filled with fruits and veggies with great nutritional values. Also since our product is dehydrated it does not go through high heat which helps to keep their enzymes and vitamins alive vs a baked product.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
Grow our presence and awareness, so people will learn about WrawP and the options and solutions we offer. And hopfully they will be able to buy it at their local stores. From small to big chain.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
Cost of everything is going up a lot. Some suppliers went out of business. Its a huge challenge to be affordable for people.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
We want all natural stores to carry WrawP products at they stores.
