Tell us about yourself?

I was married for six years, and after my divorce, I became a single mother working as a waitress in a
dinner in downtown Stamford.

My credit was affected drastically due to not being able to pay bills. A couple of years after working
two jobs, I decided to hire a credit repair company in NY that helped me with my credit report.

After six months of paying $160 a month, I could not pay anymore, and I had to cancel, so I started doing research that way I could do it myself.

Then I realized that this company was actually working in one of the three major credit bureaus from time to time (not consistent as I was paying for ). That way, they keep me longer in the program. Plus, they were lying, saying that those negative accounts were not mine ( and it was).

I found the way to dispute on a legal way, I found the Credit Reporting ACT, and I started disputing all
negative items using the law on my side, and it worked. My credit score was from 400 to 800 in a period of a year. I was still working two jobs, and I found fascinated by how my life was changing just for having a good credit score, so I started helping all my friends and family at no cost, writing the letters manual with a-lot misspellings due to my lack of English I did it for two years continue, the more I did it, the more I loved it, so I decided to take some classes and take some courses like credit repair 101, students loan consolidation,

How to challenge bankruptcy so I can get the certificates and open the LLC when I started working; I had to do it all manually, no software due to lack of money.

I remarried, and money became less of a problem, so I started investing in software that makes the company look more professional.

Those free clients I worked on before started sending me more clients, one of those clients introduced me to his realtor the name Nelly Navarrete who believed in me from day one and who soon after introduced me to an owner and well-known insurance booker, Fabian Durango, owner of all Durango Agencies in CT, he was a life-changer, he introduced me many realtors and lenders who started sending me referrals and that jump my client’s list from 60 clients to closer to 2,000 just from
referrals.

My first language is Spanish, coming from a very poor area in the Dominican Republic, plus being a woman in this business full of men, it been hard in the process, but my Job is speaking for himself, five starts on google, and strong referral sources it’s making my growth fast, been in business since 2019 and I won an award for being one of the faster-growing credit Repair company in Ct from Smart Credit.

I work with Spanish and English speaking at this moment.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

What is the plan for the next five years? What do you want to achieve?

I want to have a big corporation offering different services and where people are actually first than money where my community can have more jobs and better opportunities.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

In social media marketing, I decided to stay just with referrals after spending a lot of money in marketing without results.
