Construction has always been part of R&L. Starting off by doing simple handy-man tasks, the company was able to expand due to word of mouth and referrals.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Work harder than those around you is something that we’ve told ourselves, every year since we’ve been open.
What problem does your business solve?
Being in an industry where many companies put profits over people, we want to be the company who offers great pricing and outstanding quality of work.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
With so many shady contractors, we want to be the one that customers can trust. People who need our services are usually desperate, we want to be the calm to their storm.
What is your magic sauce?
This is pretty simple, we actually do what we say what we are going to do, and then do a bit more. While it may sound cliche, we do treat each customer as family.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
While we have helped restore many hurricane properties across the Gulf Coast throughout the years, we want to have multiple locations spread out as well.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
The restoration business as a whole is pretty challenging. There are quite a few corporations who are much bigger, however we are pushing hard to maintain steady growth.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
As a service based business, we are always looking to serve. We want to expand our commercial clientele to more commercial property owners.
