Prior to that Becky worked for many years as an award-winning business journalist, including ten years at the Wall Street Journal in its New York, San Francisco and Hong Kong bureaus. She covered topics including Wall Street, technology and Asian economics and trade. At the Journal, Becky’s reporting was honored by groups including Amnesty International, the Newswomen’s Club of New York and the American Association of University Professors. She was a finalist for the Gerald Loeb Award in 2007. After leaving the Journal, Becky joined Forbes as a senior editor, where she covered small and large technology companies and specialized in writing about venture capital. Previously in her career she wrote for the Dow Jones News Service and the Indianapolis Star, where she was a Pulliam Fellow. Becky graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service with a degree in international politics.
