As a postdoctoral research fellow, Bo proposed AUTOMAP (Nature 2018), which rethinks the conventional image reconstruction signal processing pipeline with a fully automated deep learning approach, resulting in significantly improved images even with rapidly scanned low-quality raw data, and sets up a flexible computational foundation for accelerating the future development of novel image acquisition strategies and unconventional hardware designs.
