Jim Bland is Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Data Controller Division at Broadcom. In this role, he is responsible for silicon solutions for the hard disk drive and custom solid-state drive (SSD) markets. Previously, he was vice president of sales and marketing for the Data Controller Division and Storage Peripherals Division at LSI, with responsibility for marketing and sales of LSI SoCs and preamplifiers to hard disk drive, tape storage and solid-state drive customers.
