Meeten Bhavsar

Meeten Bhavsar is Senior Vice President, Product Development at Oracle. His key responsibilities include driving strategy, product management, and software development for the Oracle Service Cloud. A 24-year veteran of the technology industry, Meeten has been in various leadership roles at Oracle for 15 years spanning database development, cloud management systems, enterprise search, and CRM. Prior to Oracle, he was the VP of Software Development for CRM industry pioneers Broadbase Software and Kana Communications. Meeten earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1991 from Caltech and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1992 from UCLA. He has also been awarded over a dozen patents in the area of secure, scalable, enterprise search.

Jason Williamson
Vice President – Startup Ecosystem of Oracle
Jason Williamson is the VP of the Startup Ecosystem at Oracle. He leads Oracle’s collaboration with the VC and PE communities and their portfolio companies around the globe. Prior to Oracle, Jason was at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he created and led several key initiatives within the investment community including Amazon’s Private Equity Program and Management Consulting efforts. He has a background in both Fortune 500 firms (Amazon, Capital One, GE) and the startup world. Among his startup efforts, he co-founded the construction industry’s first CRM SaaS offering, a faith-based NGO for entrepreneurial development based in Latin America, and is currently launching a company in the pediatric healthcare space. In addition to his work in the commercial sector, Jason served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and now works part time in academia in home state of North Carolina. He has authored three books on Data Integration and Migration and Big Data. Jason also served his country as a United States Marine and lives in North Carolina with his wife and four children where he coaches High School Girls Basketball, drinks sweat tea and eats barbecue as much as possible.

Bernard Traversat is currently the Vice President of Engineering for the Java SE Platform team at Oracle. He oversees the development team responsible for the Java Language, JVM, Core libraries, security, Java UI toolkits, and Java deployment stack for the Oracle JDK product and OpenJDK. Previously he led Sun Microsystem Java efforts in pervasive computing for small consumer devices. Prior to that, he worked at the NASA Ames Research Center on distributed-memory operating systems for massively parallel supercomputers.
