She has 16 years of experience working in the retail and consumer packaged goods industries, focused on innovation, digital, merchandising, inventory optimization, and store operations. Karen’s current role takes her to Accenture’s innovation centers in Chicago, Milan, Singapore, Bangalore, Manila, Dublin and London. This network provides companies with access to the latest global innovations and emerging industry trends. During her work with ACIN, she has planned and facilitated more than 700 workshops with clients from across consumer-facing industries, which were focused on exploring consumer trends and defining the operational implications. Karen is passionate about helping support clients in the development of their innovation practices, processes, organization and showcases. Karen’s responsibilities also include contributing to Accenture’s research and thought leadership on consumer trends and the implications to consumer facing companies, and has published two points of view, Retail @ the Edge, and A New Era for Retail – Cloud Computing Changes the Game. Karen is based in Chicago, Illinois, and has a degree in Management Information Systems from Bradley University.
