Tell us about yourself?

Ludovic François founded TrackIt, a full-service cloud engineering and consulting company in 2014 and serves as its CEO & CTO. Ludovic François has over 17 years of experience with start-up, cloud, storage and M&E businesses. Prior to founding TrackIt, Ludovic has held numerous roles at Thales Airborne Systems, DataDirect Networks and Nexsan. Ludovic is passionate about system administration, automation, education and sailing.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Do the same! Focus on key industrial verticals and train the team to be the best at what we do.

What problem does your business solve?

Bringing AWS expertise to every IT organization, our super powers are AWS native software development and video workflows.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

Help corporation to stop to be in the IT hardware business (datacenter build out, buy hardware, size power and AC requirements) and focus on their core business

What is your magic sauce?

Software Engineering driven practice, most of the TrackIt team are engineers, and we try to consider everything as a software, even an infrastructure deployment. Our goal is to automate and make reproducible every IT process.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Continue to support our customers and grow our AWS Consulting practice. Focusing 100% on AWS, and release products to help our customers, specifically media and entertainment customers to adopt AWS technologies through software like TrackIt AI Video Reviewer and Trackflix.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Few of them, 1. grow our engineering team, but we are now past that with a team in California, one in France, and one in Brazil. 2. Build the relationship with AWS as a key partner, we understood we needed to focus on a specific market and now we are very close from AWS in the Media & Entertainment space

We want Media & Entertainement companies or any corporation requiring video workflow help to collaborate with us, they can reach out to us through our website.
