Bob Starkey was appointed Major League Baseball’s Chief Financial Officer and Senior Advisor by Commissioner Robert D. Manfred, Jr. on December 4, 2014. Starkey oversees financial operations for MLB and plays a key role on industry economics and analysis. Starkey’s association with Major League Baseball began in 1991, when he was engaged to analyze the industry’s economics and financial condition.
