Tell us about yourself.
I’m Gurpreet Singh Walia, the Managing Director of Suffescom Solutions Inc. I believe that the three qualities that describe me as a leader and as an individual are perseverance, good communicator and motivator.
I’m well aware of my role in the lives of my team and so I strive hard to become the leader they deserve. From the beginning, I had a one-track mind about the direction of the company. I worked with my core team and moved forward toward building this company into a world-renowned enterprise.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
That you need to struggle in order to rise up and become a success. Over our 13+ years of operation, we have come across multiple challenges. Whether it was the pandemic or the risky market situations, we have taken some hard blows. But, each of these challenges took us to new heights. We made sure to keep our hopes up and it always paid off in the end.
What problem does your business solve?
Our company helps businesses explore digital solutions using advanced technologies like blockchain, crypto, web3, metaverse and NFTs. We have a team of expert developers that help businesses build blockchain websites, NFT e-commerce marketplace, explore smart contract solutions, web3 development and more. We help businesses explore the future possibilities and revolutionize their business.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
I always knew that I had to do something that makes a difference. My core team shared this mindset and it is what inspired us to build Suffescom. We were sure to deal with projects that not only secures the present but also the future of businesses in all industries. This is how blockchain entered our purview and slowly extended to multiple other technologies.
What is your magic sauce?
Our team. The reason behind every company’s success is its team. We started with 50 and now have more than 750 employees worldwide. It is their cooperation, hard work and skills that has helped us deliver successful results over the years.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
We aim to become an enterprise-level company in the next five years where we can have over a thousand employees in our team. I believe we aim at achieving a business environment where we can work with sustainability as our prime concern.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
I think the year 2020 was a roller coaster for our company as conducting business internationally became tough with the market falling drastically. Yet, we managed to pull that year off with consistency through the unmatched dedication of our employees.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
I think the most important aspect about any business is how you market your products to get reaches. We have a seasoned marketing team who know exactly what they are doing and market our products on various platforms. That’s how people mostly get involved with us and spare sometime to understand our futuristic vision.
