There was simply a gap and a desperate need for the ability for enterprises to offer a more intuitive and dynamic viewing experience for their fans without large capital investments and without changing their existing infrastructure.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Continue to ask a lot of questions and stay close to what the market actually needs.
What problem does your business solve?
Snipitz provides a video interface that can be used as a tool to consolidate all the fan engagement strategies that content creators/rights owners want to offer into one place and the fans have an opportunity to consume not just what’s given to them but can choose how they want to experience the event essentially personizing the experience.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
I just got frustrated that I wasn’t able to drive my own experience when watching sports at the time.
What is your magic sauce?
Our value is not only on the data that picked up so we can understand a viewers patterns, behaviors and real interests but also that it is a plug and play solution.
Our platform is embedded into our customer’s native platforms on Web, iOs and Android without any changes to their current infrastructure.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
For our Content Delivery Interface to become the ‘new normal’ We have strategic partners that are able to get us into over 70 stadiums nationally to improve the ‘in-venue’ experience and we can help teams, leagues, etc deliver a more interactive and intuitive experience to their viewership.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
As in any start-up capital and finding the right financial partners is an ongoing process but bandwidth and connectivity remain a challenge and can limit the full potential of a platform like this depending on where you are.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
At the end of the day our Content Delivery Interface can be used by just about anyone who is interested in delivering their content in a different and more personalized way.
